Failure to define a shape is caused because students are directly given a definition without being accompanied by the process of drawing the shape. Using GeoGebra we are facilitated to build our own definition for a shape. The invariant properties of these shapes can be combined to construct GeoGebra. If the constructs are correct, then the combination of these properties is the definition of the shape. As we can define a parallelogram as a quadrilateral with two pairs of opposite sides of equal length.
